How do you get cat pee out of a hardwood floor?

We've sprayed the spot several times with "Urine Gone", and it still STINKS! I can't stand it. It's left a visible stain, and the whole room just reeks. Any suggestions are welcome. (You know, aside from get rid of the cat.I've already contemplated and discarded that idea. I like him too much.)

Urine-Erase worked once for me and I'm trying it again as we speak. It takes two or three days to process the treatment.

Nature's Miracle also worked for me on both floors and carpets, but it's hard to find this product sometimes.

If you want to try enzymatic odor products like the ones above, don't use other cleansers on the floor as there's a chance the chemical reaction will set the odor.

Try a product called X-O Odor Remover, or Skunk-Off. I have a male neutered cat who is affectionately called "The Urinator", he gets pi$$ed off and pi$$es on - something the offending person likes. Not sure what to do about the stain, perhaps your best bet would be to sand and refinish the spot. Good luck!

Mix up a lot of baking soda and distilled water into a paste. Coat the stain. Cover with newspapers for a day or two.
Clean with Murphy's Oil soap or another all purpose cleaner. Good luck.
