How do you get soot out of a white kitten?!!?

My brilliant white kitten climbed up the chimney and has come out covered in soot!! I have shampooed him in the bath but to no avail!! Please help!

Hmm.maybe try whiteing shampoo! You must have a nice kitty to let you give him a bath! :)
Call your vet, the sometimes have special things to make stains go away.

maybe u could try to give a bath about 3-4 times a month until it fades away or just except that u now have a backish white cat!
Try dawn dishwashing liquid.
You have to be careful with what product you use on a kitten. Look for shampoo specially marked for kittens. If you use regular human shampoos or adult cat shampoo it can be harmful. You can try baby shampoo on a kitten as it's very gentle and wont burn their eyes. You can also try a mild dish soap to wash out the soot, but use a washcloth on the face so the soap doesnt get in their eyes.

And also a good remedy on a white cats tear stains on fur is baby wipes.
give him a shave and make him look like a lion :)
