How do you neutralise the smell of male cats pee. His spraint has soaked into my skirting boards and plaster.?

Answers:
Biological washing powder is very good, make up a strong solution in a bucket and soak the area and leave to dry.
Go to Petsmart, or Petco or whatever you have there. Look for Natures Miracle. That is the best stuff.. Pulls the urine out of anything.. And totally removes the smell.
Well, you can soak it all with an enzyme cleaner from the pet store. If you get it deep enough, it may get the smell out. Otherwise, you might have to replace it.

If the cat is neutered, it needs to see a vet. If he isn't, you will have to keep doing the same thing until he is.
You need to get an enzymatic cleaner. It will neutralize the smell. It can be purchased at any pet store. You need to keep him away from that spot so he will not continue to mark there.
nature's miracle. you can find it in just about any pet store it is a white bottle with red lettering.
Rub cat litter over the smelly area - that should work.
Kill him and rub his dead body on the stains.
Try this online stuff called Zero Odor! you have no IDEA how well it works!! www.zeroodorpets.com
Neutering helps %26 as the other poster said, Nature's Miracle. It really is a *miracle*.
Hi Phillip.consider using Nature's Miracle (available worldwide at any pet store). It's an enzymatic neutralizer which lifts the urine odours by thoroughly soaking the affected area to let air dry. Repeated applications may be necessary depending on how heavily soiled the areas are.

Here's a photo to help you recognize the product on the store shelves: http://www.petsmart.com/media/ps/images/.
The best soultion is to have him neutered. It will totally stop the spraying.
mix a solution of half water and half a top brand of household bleach and wash area, leave to dry, obviously you don't use this on soft furnishings or carpets, wear rubber gloves and if plaster is painted you may need to repaint, i have never had to, try small area first to test. i have bred and shown cats in the past and had entire males and tried lots of top expensive products that don't do much but bleach dose it for me, happy cleaning.
if you spray a mix of lemon juice and water where he does it he'll stay away as cats hate the smell the best was to get rid of the smell would have to be disinfectant and getting him neutered wont stop him cause my male was done as a kitten and still sprays
the best remedy is to get him neutered as this stops the smell, i have two toms and as soon as i got them done it stopped getting smelly.
BLEACH IN A BUCKET AND DROWN THE LIL SHITE
