How do you deal with the inconvenience of the heat cycle in female cats?

Answers:
Have her spayed, you'll be gald you did! She'll be much easier to live with.
dont take it personaly, butt are u girls lesbo's?
getting your cat spayed would be much healthier on the cat,
i know if cats dont get spayed or neutard they are at a chance of getting cancer.
lol they do get quite annoying, I have a female cat that goes into heat a lot it seems. I just try and ignore her, or at night when im trying to sleep i keep my door closed so that she cant come in to my room and try to get a lot of attention. If you ignore her she wont try and keep rubbing all over you to get your attention. Also try picking her up and putting her down everytime she trys to get on your lap or rub on you, just keep moving her, she will eventually take a hint.
The simplest way is to have your cat spayed (removal of ovaries); no ovaries, no heat, no hassles. In addition, your cat is much less vulnerable to a variety of ailments and cancers, and won't attract every tom in the neighborhood with her crying!
By far, the best method is to have the cat spayed. Not only does it prevent her from having heat cycles and getting pregnant, it will make her happier and healthier. She won't get pyometra (infection of the uterus), uterine cancer, or ovarian cancer, and it greatly reduces her risk of breast cancer.
Also, she'll be less likely to run away and possibly get hit by a car or worse. Even if she's an inside cat, they will do anything to get out to breed when they're in heat.
