Hi there.some people will have a groomer teach them how to trim the fur around the anus to minimize the feces from getting stuck to the fur. The groomers charge a nominal fee for this service.

[edit] Contrary to what people believe canned food is helpful for cats with diarrhoea as this is a symptomatic of dehydration. The moisture in the canned food helps rehydrate a cat thereby ceasing the diarrhoea symptoms. Canned diets can supplement the intake of moisture so having both dry and canned are helpful. Any vet can confirm this fact.

Canned pumpkin (without spices) will also help firm up the loose stool symptoms: http://www.pets.ca/pettips/tips-75.htm.

If your cat is having the occasional case of constipation or diarrhea, one of the things that might help is canned pumpkin. Canned pumpkin in its pureed form (NOT pumpkin pie filling) is a fantastic stool softener which makes it a good natural remedy for constipation. It often helps with upset stomach or indigestion for cats. It is very rich in fibre and adding just one or two teaspoonfuls to your pet's food often gets the system moving in no time. Some cats will occasionally want to eat it directly and that's fine too. Sometimes though, finicky cats won't touch it no matter what you do.

On the opposite end of things is diarrhea. Since the dietary fibre in canned pumpkin absorbs water, it can be a great help to a cat that has diarrhea. Some pet owners report that it firms up their pet's loose stools or diarrhea within a few hours. Again one to two teaspoonfuls is all that is needed.

Again any vet can confirm this fact.
baby wipes
Have a cat-friendly groomer trim the hair around her bum. That happens to my dog ALL the time, especially when her hair is long. Otherwise, I suppose pet/baby wipes, or just plain cat shampoo and water. Good luck!
Well is she on canned or solid food?
That could make a difference, canned can make a runny poo.
So if thats the case, try switching to solid gradually.

If not and she is on solid, what brand.
Maybe try a higher quality cat food.
Can cat food seem to cause my cat to have softer stool. I change to the dry cat food and he had solid stool which didn't cause a mess in his hair.
You might want to try the dry can food and if she still getting some mess in her hair.stay with the dry cat food and clip her hair shorter around her butt.
I have the same problem and i usually clean her.
try baby wipes? or go to the groomer to learn how trim long hairs around the bussom.
