how does my kitten stop from taking the dirts out of plants?

thanx for your help
Answers:
Put tinfoil around the plant over the dirt. You dont want your cat getting in your plant because they may think its a litter box and if that happens then you have a hard habbit to break.
Put wire mesh on top of the dirt around the plant.
its natural for cats to scratch..like in kitty litter. Maybe she is confused. Move the plant to hihger ground
Cats and Dogs are always sniffing, so put a little coarsely ground black or Cayenne pepper in the dirt. It won't hurt the plant and it should stop her from digging in there. Does she have a clean litter box? Does she have a scratching post? She needs something else to dig in and explore..
put a few pebbles around the edges of you pots if its beds lay a few of them around.
You have a couple of options. You can cover the soil with large rocks so that your kitten cannot dig. You can spray the plants a couple times a week with a product called Boundary that you can buy at most petstores. You can spray your kitten with water from a spray bottle or squirt gun whenever he is in the plants. Or, if your kitten is also taking little tastes of the plants, you can spray the plants with bitter apple spray -tastes horrible, completely safe.
I think plant stores have these plastic stake pegs that you can put around the plant to keep cats out of the dirt. They're plastic so it won't hurt the cat.
Get plastic plant trays and put over the dirt
MOTHBALLS all the way that's what i use and my cats don't go anywhere near them.it also keep other wildlife out..
